Over the last several weeks you may have noticed the children have begun working on their fine motor skills by practicing how to trace lines, simple shapes, and recently letters and numbers. We have been developing this skill by using a technique called "Rainbow Writing." The children use a variety of different colored crayons to create a rainbow on their paper. The children repeat the same motions to write the letter Xx. The end result, a colorful letter that was created while the children were having fun practicing a crucial skill. You can see from the picture above, we worked on the letter Xx. They all did a great job! Happy Monday!
